The Aims & Objectives of the Partnership Scheme

• The Outreach Partnership Scheme will initiate, promote and evaluate the educational access of both institutions to the communities of Torfaen and beyond.

• The scheme will endevour to extend access to groups of people who do not traditionally use the services of the museum or the Grange, including socially disadvantaged or excluded groups.

• It will encourage existing or new visitors to re-use or regularly utilize the services and facilities of both institutions.

• Encourage the use of the collections and archives of both institutions to support Lifelong Learning throughout the community.

• Provide strategic and collaborative learning support materials for schools, individuals and other groups.
